Desk: Many schemes are being run by the government in the country. The focus of the government is more on daughters, so that there is no discrimination between sons and daughters in the 21st century, to end this, the central government has launched a special scheme.
The name of this scheme is CBSE UDAN Yojana. Under this scheme, enrollment of girls in engineering and technical institutions is being promoted. Under this scheme, thousands of girls are given free assistance for admission in engineering colleges.
In this, the study material is made available through an online portal in which the study is also done through video. Under the scheme, virtual classes are conducted at 60 centres across India. In this, financial assistance is also given to girls to buy tablets. Also, any problem that comes up during the study is solved.
What is eligibility?
To avail the benefit of this scheme, girls will have to fulfill certain criteria such as studying in class 11 in Navodaya School, Kendriya Vidyalaya or any government school of the state center or any private school affiliated to CBSE.
Also, it is mandatory to have at least 70% marks in Class 10 and 80% marks in Science and Mathematics subjects. To take advantage of this scheme, the family income of any girl should not exceed Rs 6 lakh.
How to apply
To take advantage of the CBSE UDAN scheme, you have to register on the official website of CBSE by going to the UDAN scheme page. Read all the instructions carefully before filling the application form.
After filling the form, you will see a registration number on the portal. This will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number. The person applying for this scheme should have Aadhaar card, original address proof, annual income certificate of parents or guardian, mark sheet of class 10th and 11th, caste certificate if required and bank account details.
