The Indian Railways: Railways takes care of every facility of its passengers and that is why crores of people in the world complete their journey by train. Train travel is comfortable as well as economical, so it remains the first choice of people. If you have traveled by train, you must have seen many times that the train is stopped before the station.
There is no information about how long the train is stopped before the station. Many times, passengers get into arguments with the driver. But people do not know that the driver is not responsible for stopping the train at the outer station before the station.
Let me tell you, there is no fault of the loco pilot in this regard and he cannot do anything on his own. This is because it is not his decision to stop the train at the outer. They can’t move until the train signal is received.
Why does the train stop?
Actually, the platform of the station India trains is decided in advance. Rest of the people do not have to worry but many times two or more trains come to the platform at the same time. So the situation has to change. So one of the friends has to be kept standing on the outside before the station. But the train which is running on time is given priority first. After that, priority will be given to other trains.
Who takes the decision?
The station manager decides which train to bring to the platform and which to stop outside the station. Indian Railways is the fourth largest railway network in the world and runs hundreds of trains daily across the 68,000 km long rail network. Some trains have fewer coaches and some trains have more coaches. Based on this, the platform is selected. That’s why some platforms are short and some are long.
