The Indian Army: The Indian Army has started the direct recruitment process for NCC cadets under the NCC Special Entry Scheme. Once the final selection is done, there will be an opportunity to serve in the army at the rank of Lieutenant in Short Service Commission.

At the same time, the first service selection board interview will be conducted under the NCC Special Entry Scheme. Which is known as SSB interview in short or will be up to 5 days, during this time many types of physical and mental tests are given. The interview will be conducted by the Services Selection Board at Prayagraj and Bangalore, Bhopal and Jalandhar. The final result will be declared after the completion of the interview round.
If selected, they will undergo 49 weeks of training at the Officers Training Academy. Candidates will get a commission on the basis of the rank of Lieutenant in NA, after being recruited to the officer rank in C, Rs 56,100 to Rs 1,77,500 will be given as a salary according to 10.
Age limit and eligibility
The age of the applicant under this special entry scheme should be between 19 years to 25 years The applicant should not have been born before 2nd July 1999 and after 1st July 2005. Also, they should have completed graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks. The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 50 vacancies for men and 5 for women.
