The success story of Manjari Jaruhar: Manjari Jaruhar is an important and inspirational woman from Bihar. She is the first woman IPS officer from Bihar and has faced many challenges to achieve this. Her story is a great inspiration for all the girls of the country. Manjari’s life has been difficult in both good and bad ways.
A film named ‘Jai Gangaajal’ has also been made on his success. Manjari is one of the first five women IPS officers in the country. But it was not easy for him to reach where he is today. Even though she was from an educated family, she got married at a young age and her marriage also did not last. However, she did not give up on her life and in her second attempt, cleared the UPSC exam and became an IPS officer.
Don’t give up even after marriage
After her marriage ended, Manjari Zaroor did not give up and decided to work towards her becoming an IPS. She wanted to become an IAS officer. So, she moved to Delhi and started preparing for the exam. Manjari worked hard and in 1976 she passed the examination and became the first woman IPS officer of Bihar.
Second attempt foiled
In 1974, Manjari Zaroor took the civil services examination for the first time. They passed it. However, she could not clear the interview and become a civil servant. However, she did not give up and in 1975 she took the exam again and this time she passed. People always told her that she should just focus on being a good homemaker, but she didn’t listen to anyone. She is now a role model for girls across the country.
After completing her primary education from her village, IPS Manjari Zaroor first went to Patna Women’s College and then to Delhi University for further studies. While in Delhi, Manjari prepared for the civil services examination. Manjari wanted to become an officer and after hard work, her dream came true. After retirement, Manjari wrote a book titled ‘Madam Sir’.
