Indians drive many types of vehicles on the roads and a driving license is required to drive them. There are 4 types of driving licenses in India. So today with the help of this article we will discuss the different types of driving licenses issued by the Regional Transport Authority.
The Learner License: A learner license is a permit issued by the Regional Transportation Authority that allows you to drive under the supervision of an informant on the road who then has a valid license. This license is only valid for 30 days.
A permanent driver license: After 30 days of obtaining a learner license, a person becomes entitled to apply for a permanent driving license. The person who gets a permanent driving license becomes entitled to drive across India.
A commercial driver license: It is a special driving license, which is issued to individuals who drive heavy motor vehicles, medium motor vehicles and light goods transport motor vehicles for business purposes such as transporting passengers or goods.
The international driver license: These permits are given to those who want to drive abroad. This permit certifies that the person has a valid driver license and is eligible to drive abroad.
