Free of charge training: Nowadays, students take admission in coaching institutes to prepare for any competition. Students are preparing for examinations in these institutes. There are many students who prepare for JEE, IIT and UPSC through coaching.
But the students who have passed class 12 and are financially weak, they have a little problem in coaching. Paying hefty fees in coaching institutes is not everyone’s business. In such a situation, a scheme is being run by the government for the students of the poor class in which they are given free coaching facility.
Free coaching for students
Coaching facilities are being provided by the central government for different courses. The website of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment states that there is a provision of free coaching scheme for SC and OBC students.
The objective of the scheme is to provide good quality coaching to candidates belonging to economically weaker sections of the Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Classes (OBC). So that they can appear in competitive examinations to get good jobs in the public / private sector.
Along with this, the Ministry of Education has launched a portal named SATHEE which used to provide free coaching for JEE-NEET preparation. Its full name is Assistant Test and Help for Entrance Examination. The children will be given free coaching by professors of AIIMS and IIT.

Apart from the central government, state governments run schemes for such students. In Delhi too, students are given free coaching to prepare for other competitive exams like civil services and medical.
Apart from this, the social welfare department of the Uttar Pradesh government is also running a scheme under which poor children are given free coaching. Similar programmes are being held in other parts of the State too.
