Bihar Weather Update: The cold wave has started in many states of the country. In such a situation, the cold will increase in Bihar from Thursday. According to the Meteorological Centre, Patna, many districts will see a cold wave with dense fog in the morning and throughout the day, while there is a possibility of light rain in many districts of the southern and northern parts, which will increase the cold. The IMD has issued an alert in Patna.
The districts of Aurangabad, Rohtas, Bhabua, Buxar, Arwal, Bhojpur, West Champaran, East Champaran, Siwan, Gopalganj and Saran are likely to receive heavy rainfall. However, its effect can also be seen in Jehanabad, western part of Patna and western areas of Gaya district.
There is no chance of sunshine today.
According to the Meteorological Department, there is no possibility of sunshine in any district of the state today. A cold wave warning has been issued in Araria, Supaul, Kishanganj, Purnea, Katihar, Saharsa and Madhepura districts of the state. Cold wave with dense fog is also expected in Bhagalpur, Munger and Khagaria in the south-eastern region.
Let us tell you that last Wednesday too, except for one or two districts, a drop in maximum and minimum temperatures was seen. The highest maximum temperature of 25.2° C was recorded at Farbisganj on Wednesday.
The maximum temperature in Patna was recorded at 21.2 degrees Celsius, down 0.9 degrees. The minimum temperature was recorded at 6 degrees Celsius. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), 22 of the 30 districts recorded minimum temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature was recorded at 10.5 degrees Celsius.
