Bihar News Before the elections, the Nitish Kumar government has taken a big decision. The Nitish Kumar government has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh each to 94 lakh poor families. In the meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday, 18 other proposals have also been approved.
The Bihar Small Entrepreneurs Scheme has also been approved in this meeting. Under which it has been decided to give a grant of Rs 2 lakh to one member of 94,33,312 poor families of Bihar.
The money will be given in three instalments.
Under the Bihar Small Entrepreneurs Scheme, the government has decided to provide a grant of Rs 2 lakh for employment to a member of a poor family in Bihar whose income is less than Rs 6000 per month. To take advantage of this scheme, people have to apply online. The amount will be given in three installments.
25% will be given in the first installment, 50% in the second installment and 25% in the third installment. The scheme will be implemented for 5 years. 250 crore in the year 2023-24. 1000 crore in the year 2024-25. In total, administrative approval has been accorded for an amount of Rs 1,250 crore.
