The number of devotees in Ayodhya will increase every year. Therefore, there are opportunities to create 20,000 to 25,000 jobs locally. This includes both regular and temporary jobs. Like any tourist destination, Ayodhya will also see a huge number of jobs in some jobs like hotel staff, housekeeping, front-desk managers, chefs and multilingual tour guides, etc. Many companies are eyeing the hospitality and tour and travel sector. Especially in the hotel business, big companies like Taj Group and Oberoi are involved.
These hotel companies are preparing for a big investment
At present, luxury hotels in Ayodhya include Signet Collection Hotel, The Ramayana Hotel, Ayodhya and Ayodhya Residency. The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has already finalised two projects here.
These include brands such as Taj Hotels and Vivanta. Besides, Marriott International, Sarovar Hotels and Resorts, JLL Group and Radisson’s Park Inc are going to make big investments in the hotel sector in Ayodhya.
Employment will also increase in the nearby cities of Ayodhya.
Also, a report has revealed that 10,000 new jobs have been created in the last 6 months after the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya began. Most of them are hoteliers. By the end of 2024, it will create thousands of jobs in the first quarter of 2025. These jobs will be available not only in Ayodhya but also in nearby cities.
