Aastha Special Train: On the 22nd of this month, Ram Lalla will be worshipped in Ayodhya. People from all over the country will reach Ayodhya in this pran pratishtha. Four special trains will be run from Muzaffarpur in Bihar. At the same time, 6 weekly trains carrying Ram devotees will also run through Ayodhya.
However, there has been no notification from the railways that special trains will be run before or after the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. It is likely that two days after the inauguration of Shri Ram temple, Aastha special trains can be run from January 25.
For this, one rake each has been prepared at Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Barauni, Darbhanga etc. As soon as the green signal is received from the Railway Board, the operation of Aastha Special trains will start. Four special trains are being run from Muzaffarpur. This will be followed by six weekly trains that already pass through Ayodhya.
All trains are running. The 19166 Sabarmati Express runs three days a week. The train has been cancelled till January 15. This train will run from 16 and will go via Ayodhya. Special arrangements have been made to monitor these trains. Of the trains passing through Ayodhya, 19616 Kaviguru Express runs once a week.
While, 19166 Sabarmati Express runs three days a week, 14649 Saryu Yamuna three days a week, 14017 Sadbhavna Express runs only on Fridays. The 19054 Muzaffarpur-Surat Express, which opens from Muzaffarpur on Sunday, also goes via Ayodhya. The 13509 Asalsol to Gonda Express passes through Ayodhya once a week. Dog squads will be used to monitor these trains.
